Create a “Details” Screen

You might want to create a form which shows a specific record from one of your Data Sources.  For instance, a Customer Record screen, or a Product Details screen.

Before you start, make sure you have created your Data Source and put some data in there.

Then, to create your details screen in the FormsFly Web Platform, click on APP BUILDER, then Screens:

Select “Details Screen” as your screen type.  Then give your new screen a name and (optionally) select an icon to display on the mobile devices.  Then select the Data Source you want your form to be based upon.  Finally click the green CREATE button to create your form.

For most situations, that’s all you have to do!

The design view shows you the data fields that your screen will contain.  You can experiment with the advanced settings later, but for now, just publish your form and have a look at it on your mobile device.
